Jill is a Consultant in Public Policy for Alzheimer Scotland. Sheco-leads current work on developing a care co-ordination approach for people with dementia in Scotland.Jill worked in the National Health Service in the UK for over 30 years.Her background is in Speech & Language Therapy, but following many years of managing clinical services she worked as a senior manager in areas as diverse as employability, immunisation and Older People’s Mental Health Services. She led on planning and delivery of services for people with dementia in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde from 2012, including organising two key conferences. Jill also managed the development and production of Glasgow City’s Dementia Strategy, which was published in 2016. From 2013, she managed the successful My Power of Attorney campaign for Glasgow City/Scotland, and was invited to present the campaign methods and results at the 5th World Congress. After retiring from the NHS in 2018 she continued to lead the campaign on a consultancy basis for Enterprise Screen Video Communications. Jill has had a number of articles published including on Powers of Attorney as well as dementia.
